The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has upgraded its paper-marking process and introduced a one-window complaint system to improve transparency, merit and public service delivery.
BISE Chairman Professor Dr Iqbal Mahmood said the board has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against cheating and other examination malpractice.
Real-Time Monitoring Planned
The board also plans to strengthen its command and control centre for real-time monitoring of examination centres.
According to the chairman, digital governance, automation and data-based decision-making will gradually replace conventional administrative procedures.
The one-window system is intended to help students and parents resolve complaints more quickly without visiting multiple departments.
Dr Mahmood said public trust depends on fair examinations, accurate paper marking and impartial results. He added that technology would be used to make the board’s services faster and more transparent.
