Lahore Board Increases Teachers’ Exam Duty Pay by 50%

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has increased remuneration for teachers and other staff performing examination duties by 50%.

The revised rates apply to superintendents, deputy superintendents, invigilators, mobile inspectors, distributor inspectors and practical examiners working during examinations conducted by BISE Lahore.

Revised BISE Lahore Exam Duty Rates

Under the new payment structure, superintendents will receive Rs. 2,340 per day instead of the previous rate of Rs. 1,560.

Deputy superintendents will now be paid Rs. 1,800 per day, compared with the earlier payment of Rs. 1,260.

The daily remuneration for invigilation staff has also increased from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,500.

Mobile and Distributor Inspectors’ Allowances Increased

BISE Lahore has raised the daily allowance for mobile inspectors from Rs. 1,080 to Rs. 1,620.

Distributor inspectors will now receive Rs. 1,800 per day, up from the previous rate of Rs. 1,200.

The remuneration for practical examiners has increased from Rs. 1,540 to Rs. 2,310.

Thousands of Teachers Expected to Benefit

The decision is expected to benefit thousands of teachers and education staff assigned examination duties across Lahore.

These staff members are responsible for supervising examination centres, monitoring candidates, distributing examination material and maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
