Punjab Govt Schools Face Action Over Delay in Uploading Results of 30,000 Students

Punjab education authorities have taken strict notice after it emerged that the annual examination results of approximately 30,000 government school students have not been uploaded online.

The delay has left examination records incomplete and raised concerns about the timely processing of students’ academic results.

Thousands of Results Still Missing

According to reports, several deadlines for uploading annual examination results have already passed. Despite this, the results of thousands of students remain unavailable in the online system.

Officials fear the delay could affect students’ academic records and create complications in the promotion and enrollment process.

PEC Seeks Explanations From Schools

The Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has sought explanations from the schools that failed to upload students’ results within the prescribed timeline.

Authorities said schools were repeatedly instructed to complete the process, but many institutions did not comply with the deadlines.

Dozens of Lahore Schools Failed to Submit Records

In Lahore, dozens of government school heads reportedly failed to submit answer sheets and examination records on time.

Following the delay, the Lahore Education Authority issued a list of schools that did not provide the required documents.

The listed institutions include government schools located in:

  • Karbath
  • Ghaziabad
  • Lidhar
  • Charrar Pind
  • R.A. Bazaar

Negligence Blamed for Delays

According to reports, the delay was largely caused by negligence and poor handling by school administrations.

Officials said the lack of timely action prevented thousands of students’ annual examination results from being uploaded to the system.

Schools Warned of Administrative Action

The School Education Department has directed the concerned school heads to resubmit students’ results immediately.

Authorities have also warned that:

⚠️ Strict administrative action will be taken against officials who fail to comply with the directives.

The department said timely submission of examination records is essential to maintain accurate student data and ensure that students’ academic progress is not adversely affected.
