Faisalabad Board Takes Departmental Action
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad has suspended Mian Naeem from his position as Deputy Controller of Examinations pending further proceedings.
The board has also ordered a departmental inquiry into the allegations.
Board officials stated that any officer found involved in harassment, blackmail, or other serious misconduct would face strict action in accordance with the law and departmental regulations.
Investigation Continues
The allegations are currently under investigation by police.
As with all criminal proceedings, the registration of an FIR and suspension from duty are procedural steps and do not establish guilt. The accused is entitled to due process, and any determination of criminal responsibility will depend on the outcome of the investigation and any subsequent court proceedings.
Why This Matters
The case has raised concerns about student safety and accountability within educational institutions. It also highlights the importance of reporting alleged misconduct through legal channels so that complaints can be investigated and appropriate action taken where warranted.
