The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has officially announced the schedule for Intermediate (Inter) annual examinations 2026.
According to the board, the first phase of exams will begin from April 29, 2026, across Karachi.
Admit Cards Dispatched to Students
The board has already started issuing admit cards to private candidates.
These include students from:
- Pre-Medical
- Pre-Engineering
- Science General
- Arts (Regular & Private)
- Home Economics
Candidates are advised to check their mail and ensure they receive their admit cards on time.
What to Do If You Don’t Receive Your Admit Card
The board has provided clear instructions:
- If admit card is not received by April 25
- Students should visit the board office from April 27
- Collect a duplicate admit card
Required Documents:
- Examination form & fee receipt
- Registration card or proof
- Copy of matric result

Students should:
- Keep their admit cards safe
- Verify all details on the card

Without an admit card, entry to the exam center will not be allowed.
Background: Recent Changes in Matric Exams
Earlier, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi also revised matric exam dates due to:
- Transition from manual to digital system
- Temporary software overload issues
The problems were later resolved, and exams started from April 10.
